For The Future Of Cocoa

Thank You For Your Support

Welcome to your Cocoa Care program blog where, for the next 12 months, you can monitor the progress of your program activities.

Thank you for sponsoring the replacement of 325 dead, old or non-productive cocoa trees which will be planted as a part of our Cocoa Paper Note Book promotion for the upcoming 26th WCF Partnership Meeting & Cocoa Sustainability Trade Fair in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Your sponsorship will provide several trained and motivated farmers with much needed superior quality, top grafting seedlings along with 12 months supply of fertilizer mix and a helping hand from a Cocoa Carer for the program duration to ensure these farmers are on the right path towards a more productive and sustainable future.

Your trees will begin to fruit in about 18 months and from 2016 onwards your trees should be producing up to 2kg of cocoa each year or enough to make about 2.3 kg of 70% dark chocolate, about three to four times the current average production of a “typical” cocoa tree in the world today.

Your trees will be planted in the coming weeks and we will continue to monitor the progress of your trees over the next 12 months. Photographs and updates will be posted online here so please check back again soon.
