For The Future Of Cocoa

Soil Testing

Posted on December 10, 2013 by Cocoa Care | 0 comments

The first soil and leaf samples taken from the 3 new farmers participating in the IPNI program have been packaged and sent off for laboratory testing.

The results from this testing will allow us to asses the requirements from each farm, which varies depending on soil, climatic and other location conditions.

Routine soil and leaf testing will be conducted to monitor the impact of fertilizer and compost applications and to reassess the requirements for each farm.
