To clearly demonstrate their commitment to cocoa sustainability on Indonesia, Cocoa Care sponsors helped 100 cocoa farming families rehabilitate their farms to increase family income by planting more than 7000 top quality grafted seedlings this past planting season.

These new seedlings will start to produce cocoa pods in 2017 and by 2018 will produce around 14 ton of cocoa beans.

These trees will produce up to 75 Ton of chocolate depending on the recipe and bring in around $45,000 of additional income to these struggling families. That is enough money for each of these families to send their children to school, and to invest in their farms to create a much brighter future for them and their families.

Cocoa Care and the farming families of Sopping, South Sulawesi would like to thank all of the sponsors who care so much about the families involved in securing the future of chocolate.
