For The Future Of Cocoa

Field Visitors Tree Planting Progress

Posted on April 17, 2014 by Cocoa Care | 0 comments

This tree planting "tradition" started back in January 2013 when we were delighted to be invited by Cocoa Carer Aris' to plant cocoa trees on his land to mark the first official Cocoa Care visit.

Since then, Thomas Oberthür from IPNI planted a tree on his first visit to Cocoa Care farmers in Soppeng, South Sulawesi and recently SK Leng from Blue Alps Media planted his tree in January 2014 to mark the first program progress review for IPNI.

All the trees planted are superior quality top grafted cocoa tree seedlings and the trees planted in January 2013 are already producing quite a lot of fruit.

More trees for more cocoa is always a good thing!
