For The Future Of Cocoa

New Trees For Taidi

Posted on February 01, 2013 by Cocoa Care | 0 comments

KokoSmart has expanded their program by coming to the rescue to Farmer Taidi who has begun removing his dying cocoa trees with corn.

Taidi has cocoa trees produced by Somatic Embryogenesis that were planted about 2 years ago and are now not producing any useable cocoa or are falling over due to weak root systems.

For the future of chocolate, we need cocoa farmers to continue producing cocoa. Without your help, Taidi would most certainly be one farmer no longer producing cocoa.

Taidi will receive 100 high quality too grafted cocoa seedlings, fertilizer to care for these trees for 1 year and a helping hand with on farm training from our Cocoa Carers.
